For many Delhi NCR students, the most stressful part of getting a B.Ed isn’t the exams — it’s the counselling process itself. One wrong click, one missed deadline, or one bad college choice can delay your admission for an entire year. This guide explains the complete Haryana B.Ed counselling process for MDU, CRSU, KUK, Gurugram University, and DCRUST admissions.
At Cambridge Education, we have handled the Haryana B.Ed counselling process for thousands of students over the last 13+ years. From registration glitches to strategic college selection and document verification, we know exactly where students get stuck — and how to avoid those mistakes before they cost you a seat.
The Haryana B.Ed counselling process usually begins around June or July through the official HRYBED portal. Every student must first complete online registration and create a counselling profile using a valid mobile number and email address.
All OTPs, counselling updates, merit list notifications, and allotment alerts are sent to the registered mobile number — so avoid using a temporary or inactive number during registration.
This is the most important stage of the counselling process — and the stage where most students make costly mistakes. Students are required to list colleges in order of preference, and the system allots seats based on merit and seat availability.
Many students choose only one or two colleges and lose admission opportunities unnecessarily. Strategic choice filling increases your chances of getting a better college closer to Delhi NCR.
After choice filling closes, Haryana universities release the merit list based primarily on your graduation or post-graduation percentage. Once allotted a seat, students must immediately download the Provisional Allotment Letter from the counselling portal.
Students who are unhappy with their allotted college can usually participate in the second counselling round using the “Float” option to try for a better college.
Once your seat is confirmed, you must physically report for document verification either at the college or through your authorised admission consultant. Original documents are compulsory during this stage.
Once document verification and fee payment are completed, the university generates your official University Roll Number. Your B.Ed admission is now officially confirmed.
Students then begin regular classes, workshops, practical sessions, internal assessments, and Teaching Practice preparation according to the university academic calendar.
